1. USER DATA PROCESSING & PRIVACY
The Extension operates strictly as a client-side media extraction tool. It only processes temporary web page data locally on your device to enable core downloading features:
Website Content & Media Elements: The Extension inspects HTML elements (such as img tags, video elements, and background images) on the active web tab to generate thumbnail previews and allow single or batch ZIP downloading of media files.
Network Request Inspection: The Extension monitors temporary network stream URLs on active tabs via Chrome APIs to detect streaming video and audio files loading in the background.
No Data Collection or External Transmission: We do NOT collect, store, sell, share, or transmit any user data, personal information, IP addresses, browsing history, or account credentials to any external server or third party.
2. BROWSER PERMISSIONS JUSTIFICATION
The Extension requests the following minimum permissions required for operation:
downloads: Required to save user-selected images, videos, and generated .ZIP archives directly to the user's local downloads folder.
webRequest & host permissions (<all_urls>): Required to detect media file streams on web pages and bypass cross-origin header limitations during ZIP archive creation and file downloads.
storage: Used strictly to hold detected media URLs locally in the user's browser memory for the active tab session.
activeTab: Required to scan the DOM of the active tab for images and videos when the user opens the extension popup.
3. DATA SECURITY & THIRD PARTIES
All data extraction and ZIP packaging happen locally inside your web browser. No personal data is stored on external databases or shared with third-party advertisers or analytics platforms.
