MapLead Finder does NOT collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data or contact lead information to any external servers. All information extracted is processed and stored strictly within your browser's local storage.

Important Note: All data extraction is done locally. Your contacts remain 100% yours, secure in your browser, and under your control.

2. Permissions and Usage

To provide its search and lead extraction helper services, the extension requests the following permissions. Here is exactly why they are needed:

  • storage: Used to temporarily store extracted lead details (such as names, phone numbers, websites, and emails) inside your local Chrome profile so they can be exported as CSV/XLSX.
  • scripting: Used to run search-parsing helper scripts on web directory pages to identify and compile business lists automatically.
  • Host Permissions (*://*/* and Maps URLs): Used to visit the websites listed by businesses on map directories and search their public pages for contact information (specifically public emails and social media links) to enrich your leads.

3. Third-Party Services

Our extension connects to our secure dashboard (productivityimprover.com) to manage user licensing and premium subscriptions. Premium payment transactions are handled entirely by Stripe, a secure industry-leading payment processor. We do not store or process your credit card numbers or billing details on our servers.

4. Security

We take security seriously. Since your local lead database is stored entirely within your local browser sandbox, it is protected by Google Chrome's built-in application security measures. We recommend keeping Google Chrome up to date to maintain this security framework.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to comply with industry standard practices or Chrome Web Store regulations. We encourage users to check this page periodically for updates.
